What does it help with?
A theragun therapy session can be helpful for reducing general tension, stress and speed up strenuous exercise recovery. Andrew our Chiropractor will use the device for two minutes on each muscle group that requires attention to help you feel relaxed and reduce any muscle spasms.
What does a treatment look like?
If you were to compare it to a deep tissue massage you would think you need to apply more force to get that outcome, but the reason why a massage therapist is applying pressure is to get deep into the tissue, and we’re already doing this with the high level of amplitude a theragun therapy session applies. So the majority of the time we are lightly rolling the Theragun over the patient’s skin with very little pressure being applied.

Yes it is. So we can also provide Chiropractic adjustments if required in conjunction with Theragun Therapy.
This is worked out on a case by case basis. Generally speaking, we can get a marked improvement in 2-5 appointments.
$70 per session
Yes, we do have HICAPS and you can claim this service under Chiropractic. You are able to claim the rebate directly from your health fund at the time of the appointment if you present a current health fund card and coverage is available for extras or ancillary services with your level of cover.
Yes it can. We work on the muscles around the neck. If these muscles are tight, they can put pressure on the nerves that refer to the forehead and eyes. This gives you the sensation of pain around your forehead, however, the root cause of this pain could be derived from your neck.
Yes there is. Missed appointments or those canceled with less than 24-hours notice will be charged $50.00. Please give Advanced Health 24-hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment so that time slot may be made available to others. We can be notified by text, call or email.

We charge $70 for all Chiropractic Theragun appointments. Your 1st appointment is $70 and if required, any subsequent appointments are $70. This is not including private health insurance rebates. At Advanced Health a 30-45 minute Chiropractic treatment can include: Chiropractic adjustments, Massage, Dry Needling/Acupuncture, spinal traction (ideal for disc injuries), Taping and Clinical Reformer based Pilates.
