Ergonomic Workstation Assessments
Ergonomic Workstation Assessment
With the amount of sitting work hours we are doing in this day and age, as evolution progresses our backs will end up shaped like chairs. But until this happens we need to work on our posture and ensure workstations are correctly set up.
Biomechanical postural changes can be difficult, making alterations to your posture is by no means a walk in the park, but we assure you, it is more than necessary.
Office workers who are desk bound for much of the day often suffer from a number of problems associated with this poor postural position.

What are common issues that result from poor ergonomic support?
- Headache
- Upper back and shoulder pain
- Low back pain
- Repetitive strain injuries to arms and hands
- Poor concentration and fatigue
- Tingling hands
What is our approach?
Equally important is your workstation arrangement. Even people with superb posture will be brought undone by a poorly set up workstation.
Advanced Health’s approach will help you find the cause of your symptoms, whether it’s your own strained muscles and stiff joints, or the position in which you’re spending your working days. Either way, we have solutions.

Do you offer consultation for individuals and companies?
Advanced Health offers individual workstation assessments to coincide with your treatment. We are also available on a consultancy basis for companies and employees needing ergonomic advice.
Advanced Health can create workstation assessments to suit your company’s needs, including short ergonomic orientations, detailed assessments, or group corrective revision sessions.
We also work for sole traders- we charge $100 for an “at home” 30-45 minute assessment. You may also be eligible to gain a private health rebate for this service.
