New Patients
What to expect in your first consultation?
Our practitioners will take you through a range of questions to extract as much detail as possible about your history and establish the facts to date. We want to know what has happened, the reasons it happened and the impact it is having on your life.
This is followed by an examination that may include postural evaluation, muscle and joint testing, neurological testing and relevant orthopaedic tests. At this point, if we have enough information, we will provide you with a diagnosis and a treatment plan to get you to where you want to be.
We will then provide treatment on the first appointment in 99% of cases.
What to bring
Clothing
It’s not crucial but loose comfortable clothing so you can move easily can be helpful.
Time
Expect the first Chiropractic visit to take around 45 minutes.
Reports & X-rays
If you have information relevant to your case such as reports or x-rays then please bring them with you. The more information we have the more we can understand and help you.
Health Insurance
If you have Health Insurance that covers your care then please bring your card and let our staff conveniently process it on the spot for you.
EPC
If your care is paid for under the EPC program then please bring your medicare card & EPC doctor’s referral.
Worksafe & TAC
If your care is being paid for by these programs please provide us with your claim number so we can process it for you.
